What is Afterpay?
What do I need to use Afterpay?
- Live in Australia;
- Be over 18 years of age;
- Have an Australian debit or credit card;
- Have a valid and verifiable email address and mobile number;
- Be capable of entering into a legally binding contract.
How does Afterpay work?
If it’s your first time using Afterpay, you’ll need to register. Then you’ll complete your purchase and receive a confirmation email from us, Goodbuyz and Afterpay.
Do I have to make my first Afterpay payment on the purchase day?
If you are a new Afterpay customer, you will be required to make your first payment at the time of purchase. The remaining three payments will be deducted automatically each fortnight from your nominated card (unless you make voluntary payments).
If you are a existing Afterpay customer, your first payment will be deducted two weeks after your purchase for orders under $500 or at the time of purchase if your order is over $500.

Is Afterpay really ‘free’?
If you miss a payment Afterpay do charge late fees. These fees never exceed 25% of the purchase price or $68; whichever is less.
Afterpay do everything they can for you to avoid late fees, including sending reminders leading up to the payment due date and an alert after a payment has failed.
