Yes, you can reset the target temperature on the Device Base or by using the Typhur app.

What does the Device Base do?

The Device Base can work as a temperature screen, a Probe charging case, and a WiFi & Bluetooth bridge. The temperature estimate algorithm is embedded.

Do I need to be on WiFi to use the Sync?

No, you don't need to be on WiFi to use the Typhur Sync wireless thermometer. You can use the Device Base and Probes connected by Bluetooth without the Typhur app. However, it is recommended to be on WiFi when using the Typhur app.

How can I check my battery levels?

You can check the battery levels on the app or on the Device Base screen. The Device Base screen will show the progress of charging.

Is the Probe dishwasher safe?

Yes, Sync probes meet IP67 standard and are fully dishwasher safe.

Is it possible to purchase only a Probe instead of the entire set?

Individual probes are currently unavailable. However, if there is any issue with your Probe, you can contact our support team and get a proper solution.

Can I grill over open fire with Sync probes?

Yes. The ambient sensor of Typhur Sync can withstand up to 707℉/375℃. The product will alert you if the temperature exceeds this range for more than 2 minutes.

Can I use Typhur Sync to deep fry food?

Yes. With high temperature resistance (internal temp up to 212°F/100°C and ambient temp up to 572°F/300°C), Typhur Sync can be used with deep frying.
